Managing Tasks with Microsoft Outlook

TrackerSuite.Net is a 100% Web based solution that can be surfaced in Microsoft Outlook. It offers configurable, color coded task dashboards. Managers can easily categorize and group tasks by Project, Assignee and Assignee Manager. The dashboard is also interactive, allowing users to drag-and-drop column as well as edit data directly from the dashboard, such as assignees and due dates. After reconfiguring the dashboard, the user can save it as a private view for later use.

As well as dashboards, users can also track and review their own schedules in Outlook task calendars and lists. Managers can also leverage functions for resource scheduling to view employee workloads and availability.

TrackerSuite.Net does not require Microsoft Exchange. It may hosted in your organization's private Cloud, or delivered as a service from Automation Centre.

TrackerOffice desktop

Project Tracker offers a Task desktop view in Microsoft Outlook that simplifies task management, allowing users to easily filter and sort through the tasks created in TrackerOffice, along with key information about the task, including assignee, status, due date, budgeted and actual time. Users can click the name of the assignment to open the task document for more information.

As well as the Task Desktop view, TrackerOffice offers other functions that leverage Outlook to simplify task management. For example, when a task is assigned to a team member, the manager can opt to have to assignee notified via email. Similarly, when a task is updated, such as a change of start or due date, assignees or work description, the option to send an email notification is offered. These task update notifications make it easy for project managers, sponsors, project teams and task assignees to stay on the same page in regards to project work.
